"A picture is worth a Thousand words"

"A picture is worth a Thousand words"

If you come to believe this is true, then a great social network for you to join is Instgram!

Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and launched in October 2010. The service rapidly gained popularity, with over 100 million active users as of April 2012. This application can not be accessed through internet so unfortunately you would have to have an smart phone. The applicaton is supported through Apple store, Google play, and other applications engines. Instagram is all about capturing the moment. You are able to snap a picture, or newly added video of what ever is important to you, then filter it, then show the world. Also if you hash tag your picture it is placed in a category and whom ever  search the hash tag for example "football" all pictures and videos pertaining to football will show up. So it can be a great way to get products out into the world for everyone to view them.  Do you have an Instagram? If so, name one thing that you think should be added. If you don't do you think you will ever create one?

  1. I really liked your article! It was very interesting and made me very curious for instagram. I do not have one...yet! But I can't wait for the day I finally decide to get one!

  2. I do have an Instagram. I updated to the iOS7 version recently and regret it. One thing I wish was changed about Instagram in general is that when people like my picture, I want to be able to go see their profile even if they are normally a private account. Sure, they are allowed privacy but if they can see my photos without me knowing it, why can't I see theirs?

  3. I do not have an Instagram. However, if I ever get a smart phone I will probably get one. I like the fact that you can give your pictures a bunch of different effects. I had never really thought about using Instagram for advertising, but it really makes sense. It is the same concept as advertising on Twitter or Facebook.

  4. Your article is very interesting! I have an Instagram account but I honestly don't post that much. If I could change anything I would get rid of the video sharing, I liked it better when it was just picture sharing.
